Ankobea is sponsoring a bus trip to Baba Hannibal Afrik’s Home-Going Services in Chicago.  The bus will leave from NationHouse, 770 Park Road NW, Washington, DC 20010 on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at 11pm. and return to Washington, DC early Sunday, July 10, 2011. The bus will leave Chicago Saturday evening and will be back in DC between 5 am and 9 am.

Roundtrip bus tickets are $150 (This does not include hotel cost). Please reserve your seats ASAP as we need to confirm all arrangements and make sure we have adequate room to accommodate all Afrikans who would like to attend.

Hotel reservation will need to be paid on your own.  We have made reservations to hold a block of rooms at  two hotels.  The prices range from $109 – $129.  Please call Lifoma Salaam at 202-276-3383 after you have paid for your bus seat if you would like to reserve a room at the discounted rate.   The two hotels are the Marriott Chicago Midway and the Holiday Inn @ Chicago-Midway Airport.  The hotels are in walking distance of each other.
